Summer has certainly kept Bucks County on its toes this year! What an up and down last 3 months! We started with an extended stretch of extreme heat, with temperatures climbing to 105°F and heat index values soaring above 112°F. Then, just as landscapes began showing signs
of heat stress, Mother Nature shifted gears, bringing soaking rains to close out July and kick off August. While the changing weather has been a welcome relief for many, it has also done something else—it has revealed how well our landscapes have handled everything the season has thrown at them. Think of August as nature's report card.

The Summer Test

Every lawn, tree, shrub, and flower bed has faced the same challenges this season. Intense sunshine, prolonged heat, high humidity, and now periods of heavy rainfall have tested landscapes across Bucks County. By August, the results begin to tell a story.
